We are happy to announce that improvements have come to Best Value Copy's website.  In order to create a better customer experience we have added some features that our customers may find helpful.  Here at Best Value Copy we continually try to improve our customer experience and always value any feedback our customers can provide.

Here are a few of the improvements that have been made:
  1. FAQ page - We have added an Frequently Asked Question page to help answer some basic questions.  Finding answers quickly to some basic questions saves our customers time.  If you feel we missed one please let us know by posting it on our blog and we will review it.
  2. Paper Recommendations and Detailed Paper Information - We have added a pop-up in the "Paper type" section on "Step 2" of our order process.  The pop-up offers paper recommendations based on job type and also detailed paper information on all the paper types we carry.  This can help our customers make a better decision when picking a paper type.
  3. Binding Options - We have added a pop-up in the "Binding" section on "Step 3" of our order process.  The pop-up gives more detailed information on our binding options.  Our customers can learn more about the differences between the various types of bindings we offer.  This can help our customers make a better decision when picking a binding type.
  4. Follow and Share Buttons - We have added "Follow" buttons so our customers can easily find Best Value Copy's social media pages and "Share" button so our customers can easily share Best Value Copy with their friends.
  5. Professor Highbrow - Some of our customers may have noticed Professor Highbrow on our social media pages, in our emails or elsewhere.  Now he's on our homepage too!  Professor Highbrow always has something good to say.

Ordering calendars with Best Value Copy is easy!  There are a number of things to consider when ordering you calendar.  Choosing the right paper type, the right paper size and then choosing the right binding is important.  Below are some of Best Value Copy's suggestions to consider for your calendar.


1. Paper type - You can choose any of our "cover" paper types you desire.  We do have some recommendations that might give your calendar a better look. 
  • 65# Glossy Cover - Great glossy-look and smooth finish and the thinnest of  these 3 options. 
  • 80# Glossy Cover - Great glossy-look and smooth finish and 23% thicker than 65# . 
  • 100# Glossy Cover - Great glossy-look and smooth finish and 54% thicker than 65#. 
When choosing a paper type you might want to consider having a thicker paper for the outside cover and thinner paper for the inner pages.  For example you may want 100# Glossy Cover for the outside cover and 80# Glossy Cover for the inner pages.  The choice is yours!

2. Paper Size - How big or small do you want your calendar to be?  The average finished size, when folded and closed is 8 ½ x 11; the smaller size can be 5 1/2 x 8 ½. Choose the finished size that is best for you.

 3. Binding Choice - Most commonly calendars have a "booklet" (also known as saddle stitch) type binding but you can choose other binding types that work well for calendars such as plastic coil, comb and wire.

Best Value Copy is a great place to order brochures for your business, charity, organization and more!  Brochures are a great way to quickly handout information you want to convey to your customers, participants and anybody you need to give a fast overview of your message.  Below we give some tips on how to order brochures on Best Value Copy.   

When ordering brochures Best Value Copy gives you control over the quantity, the paper quality and how you want your brochure to be folded.  On Step 1 of our order process you can choose your quantity and how many pages each brochure will have.  Unlike many other companies that require fixed quantities, Best value Copy always allows you to choose the right quantity for you.   

Then go to Step 2.  Most brochures, of course, are color and double sided.  If yours is please select color and double sided.  Then we come to paper size.  Depending on the size of your artwork and layout you can choose 8.5 x 11, 8.5 x 14 or 11 x 17.  Remember if you want printing to go all the way to the end of the paper make sure you choose Bleed these pages.  Next you choose paper type.  For the best results choose 32# Glossy Laser Text, it folds well and will give your brochure a nice glossy finish.  If you prefer a matte finish choose 28# Hammermill Laser Bond.  If you would like to have something much thicker please call our Customer Service at 1-888-307-4570 for further assistance.  

Then go to Step 3.  In the Collation section you will want to choose Not Collated to free up the next section, Folding.  In the Folding section you can choose the style in which your brochure will be folded.  Depending on how you artwork and layout will determine how many folds it will have but you must choose the style you feel fits your needs best.

After you have gotten through Step 1 and Step 2 of Best Value Copy's order process you get to Step 3 and that's where you can choose the booklet option.  Of course, you will want the booklet to be in page order (collated) and under the "Stapling/Drilling" section you can choose the "booklet" option (folded and stapled at the fold).  If you want to have a thicker cover you can choose options for the front and the back.  Make sure you select both front and back as it requires both and make sure the paper you choose is the same for both.  You can upload separate files for both the cover and the body of the booklet.
