October marks the beginning of Fall and the Holiday Season. Whether you’re a tree or a fashionista, chances are you’re in the midst of switching to “Fall colors”, and now, there is one more addition to that line-up of spectacular "Fall colors” for you to consider, Pink!
That’s right, Pink! October is not just the start of Fall and the Holiday Season, it is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There was once a time when adding the title “Breast Cancer Awareness” to a month was overlooked, but that’s become a thing of the past with help from advocates and sponsors like: the NFL, The White House, full cities (general, but true!), and local small businesses!
Now, you may be thinking, ‘how is it possible that so many different organizations are able to contribute to the awareness of breast cancer on such a large scale?’, and to that I would respond, use what you’ve got! You don’t have to go out and run 5k or paint your house pink, you simply need to think Pink and let the ideas come to you :)
Here are 4 creative ideas that we found for supporting Breast Cancer Awareness. In each case the supporters simply used what they had, and added a touch of Pink!
